The most alluring part of these sarees is their association with Bandhakala-the customary craft of tie-dye, also referred to as Ikkat or Ikat. During this method, first, the threads are well tied and dyed then they’re used for weaving. This complete process usually takes quite a fortnight to complete.

This kind has deep spiritual significance also .
